LIGHTNING RIDGE
OPAL FESTIVAL
Lightning Ridge will celebrate local culture and character with its annual Opal Festival on the last weekend in July. The Opal and Gem Expo will have a fantastic range of opal, jewellery, beads and gems from all mining fields and OJDAA Trade Show will boast some of the worlds best Black Opal.
Social activities include the spectacular Opal Queen Ball on Saturday, Stallholders Wine and Cheese night and International Opal Jewellery Design Awards Opal Trade Show with parties and entertainment jam packed into the program.
